Skagakaia is a pleasant family owned guesthouse, situated at the end of a small road, furthest out in the western municipalty of Bø in Vesterålen. Here you have islands and ocean, mountains and great hiking trails- all in emmidiate reach.

After a day out there is nothing better that settling down in a good chair at the quay overlooking the ocean and the Lofoten Archipellago to the south. 

The guest rooms are pastel colored from another time

and in our nice restaurant you can enjoy homemade meals

based on the catch of the day.

History  is well taken care of here, and the place is carefully

restored with support from the

Norwegian Cultural Heritage Foundation.

While bathrooms are new and pleasant, and facilities are up to date in quality, you can still imagine the genuine and authentic athmosphere of the old harbour - where people travelled by passenger ships and goods where

brought in and out.
